Our Team

Kyle H. Webb AIA, NCARB

Principal
A native of Cleveland, Ohio Kyle and his family spent many winter vacations in Vail while he was growing up. He says he always knew he would return to Colorado permanently once he finished school. Kyle received Bachelor of Architecture degrees from The Catholic University of America and North Carolina State University before fulfilling his dream of settling in Colorado. Kyle worked as a project architect with Morter Architects in Vail for eight years, and then decided to branch out on his own. He started KH Webb Architects in 1999. Ten years later the firm boasts an extensive portfolio of innovative designs, many of which have gained regional and national recognition. Kyle and his team have completed more than 90 projects in the Town of Vail ranging from homes, renovations and re-developments. Outside of Colorado, they have worked on designs in New York, Florida, Massachusetts, Ohio, California, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Kyle and his wife Allison reside in Lake Creek in Edwards.

Heather Barrie

Project Architect
Heather received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech. After college she packed her car and headed west, settling in New Mexico for a few years before making the move to the Colorado high country. She worked for Alm Architects and Fritzlen Pierce Architects, both of Vail, before joining the KH Webb team in 1999. Heather loves seeing a project through from start to finish; from presenting a client with 3D images of a drawing to the process of seeing a project, which started as that drawing, come to life through construction. Heather also loves skiing and the mountain lifestyle.

Michael Current

Project Architect
Michael and his wife were living in Washington D.C., planning a move back to Colorado, to the front range, when a chance meeting with Kyle’s father in D.C. brought them to Vail, and brought Michael to KH Webb in 2004. Michael grew up in Indiana, but he has loved the mountains his entire life. He and his family have been visiting the Vail Valley since Michael was two and he has always been drawn to the area because of his passion for mountains and all the activities they facilitate. He has a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver. Michael worked for various architectural firms that specialize in residential and commercial design in Denver, San Francisco and Washington D.C. before joining the KH Webb team. He enjoys the unique design challenges presented by the mountains and the unique opportunities that working on clients’ vacation homes present.

Lauren Ford

Project Architect
Lauren came to Colorado from her hometown of San Diego to study at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She received a four-year degree in Environmental Design with an emphasis in Architecture in 2005, and then moved to Vail for a job at GPS Architects. In 2007 she began working for KH Webb Architects, where she was pleased to find an office dynamic that fit well with her personality. She appreciates the creative approach the designers are encouraged to take, no matter how small or large the project; she also values the insight she gets from her co-workers. When she’s not working Lauren enjoys taking advantage of all the activities the Valley has to offer; snowboarding, backpacking, rafting, biking, and yoga, to name a few.

Stacey Goehring

Project Architect
Stacey first came to Colorado in 1990 from her hometown of Fresno, California to attend Colorado College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Geology. She then attended Arizona State University where she received her Master of Architecture degree. After also spending some time in New Mexico, Stacey found herself drawn back to the mountains of Colorado and settled into the Vail Valley in 2000. Stacey has worked with KH Webb for ten years now. She loves the design process and discovering the unique qualities of each project; she loves that no two projects are alike. Stacey is an avid snowboarder, skate skier and mountain biker. She lives in Edwards with her husband and two daughters.

Samantha Gerstein

Office Manager
Samantha joined the KH Webb team in 2007. She moved to the Valley in 2003 to pursue her passion for the great outdoors and fell in love with both the mountains and the people she found here. Sam thoroughly enjoys her work and the people she works with, she is constantly proud of the work the KH Webb team produces. She and her husband, Eli, were recently married and live in Wildridge with their two German Shepherds.
